Steps to take to Lose Belly Fat The truth is that everyone has belly fat even people that have flat abs which is quite normal but having too much belly fat can affect the health of the individual in a way that other fat does not and some of the fat is right under the skin while some is deeper inside around major organs like the lungs, heart, liver and other organs. This deep fat is called visceral fat, and it is this fat that poses a major issue and in as much as everyone needs visceral fat to provide cushioning around the organs if the person has too much of it then they are predisposed to diseases like high blood pressure, type two diabetes, certain types of cancers and dementia. A known fact is that this fat in the body is not idle, and it is metabolically active thus makes many toxins. There are many ways to eliminate body fat, and they include diet, exercise, stress management, and sleep. Thorough exercise decreases all kinds of fat including visceral fat, and this can be achieved by getting half an hour of exercise at least five days a week and things like walking even count as long as it is brisk enough for the person to break a sweat and breathe harder. To achieve the same results in half the time the person needs to increase the pace and get vigorous exercise like jogging or walking for twenty minutes a day for four days in a week. It is good to state that if the person is fit, they can walk briskly at an incline on a treadmill if they do not want to go jogging or do vigorous workouts on stationary bikes and rowing or elliptical machines also have the same effect. Increasing the heart rate for half an hour at least three times a week also helps since it slows down the rate of formation of visceral fat the person gains but to burn the visceral fat the person gas to increase their workout rates. It is good to state that there is no ideal diet for belly fat but when the person loses weight on any diet the first fat to go is the belly fat, and an essential part of getting a proper diet is eating enough fiber. There are some studies have shown that people that ate ten grams of soluble fiber each day without any diet modifications built less visceral fat and this can be done by only eating two small apples, half-cup of pinto beans or a cup of green peas.
